Broken my new Mossberg 930 SPX. Have you guys had the same part fail?

So finally got myself a Mossberg 930 SPX shot gun. Been waiting about 10 months for them to come in.
Not even 1 day old and 120 rounds later (factory loads, 00 buck shot through to skeet loads) the ejector breaks clean off.
Anyone else had this part fail?
Does not seem to be anything on the net about this part failing.
Was really loving it up till that point. It ran everything from OO buck to light sheet loads. Broke on the skeet loads.
Wasn't till I was picking up the shells afterwards that I noticed the damage on the fired rims. Must have been hanging in their for awhile till it finally parted company.

Its a warranty job for sure so not a big deal.

I have the same shotgun, but only put a small number of rounds through it at the moment, so have not experienced this yet, and hopefully never will...
I read a lot of reviews prior to purchase, and its not a ferrari, but never came across this.
Let us all know how you get on with the warranty parts.

Yep, it was going to be my 3 gun / shoot random stuff up shot gun.
    Not so sure now.
Once its fixed I will run a few hundred more rounds through it and see how she holds up.
I read a heap of reviews before buying. Early versions apparently were not very reliable with skeet type loads but this appears to be fixed on the new versions.
    Most people love them.
It ran the skeet loads I was shooting without a problem right till the ejector snapped off.

Makes you wonder about all the bad stuff one hears about Norinco, Gun City 870 etc. Mine is still spitting out everything I load in it. Cost $299...

I'd hazard a guess that it's Metal Injection Moulded (MIM). One of my Paraord 1911's had it's PXT extractor let go just like that Mossie one. It was a MIM'd part, as were a lot of the internals. Common for cheaper small parts manufacture in firearms these days.
10MRT shooters do it 60 times, in two directions and at two speeds.

    Quick update.
Took a couple of weeks to get fixed as it happen during duck shooting season but it did finally arrive repaired.
The old broken ejector had been removed and a new one welded in. It was a reasonably tidy repair but could have been finished a little bit tidier.

I have put through just over 1000 rounds since then and have had zero issues so are happy once more.
I have mounted a Burris Fast Fire 3 on it which makes it crazy fast for knocking down plates and putting slugs and buckshot on paper.
Nice little sights and no issues with it thus far.

930 SPX is one of my favourite guns at the moment for taking to the club and blasting some targets with.
