No experiences with ab3 myself but have owned a few a-bolts and would own another with no hesitation. The ab3 is just a budget priced rifle so I wouldnt expect much out of it. Might get lucky though. People around here rate the howas - possible choice?

Yea was looking at the howas aswell. My mossberg i got is starting to get a bit tired and is having ejection issues. But prob not worth the money to fix it haha. Also looking at the t3 but i kinda wabt something a little different. Thats what made me think of the browning

They are a cheaper Browning product to complete with the other second/third tier offerings from mainstream rifle makers.
The stock certainly leaves a lot to be desired, for me anyway
But the ones I've seen are as good as or possibly better than some of the other offerings
    I have never shot one.
Apart from the weight, or even with it I think I'd be happier with the Howa/Weatherby type in that price range
Or this at 895$ new, depending on calibre you want.

I recently had the chance to handle one in my local when the Rep was in showing the new Brownings. I had an A-bolt II for bout 10years and was very happy with it but my first impression of the AB3 was Browning have gone backwards trying to get a slice of the budget rifle market.
The stock was very tuppaware-ish, noisey and flexible. The Rep also said they only come in blued and 270 at this stage.
The impression I got was that the AB3 was to compete with Marlin, Savage and cheaper Remmy's.
IMO I think you would be better spending a little more coin and get a Howa or Tikka if you can.
