Browning BLR owners - fibre optic sights???

Righto all you BLR owners.

Who here has fitted a set of aftermarket hi-viz open sights? What have you got, where did you get it?

Really struggling to find options. I want to improve visibility for open sights shooting in lower light conditions. Specifically when shooting towards the bushline, cloudy evening, wintery weather... the factory sights are great in good visibility but the bronze dot on the front sight is not the best in low light.

Is there enough meat in the front sight to remove the brass bead and drill right through to fit a piece of fibre?

Himm maybe have a look at the after market shotgun front sights.

Dove tail shotgun sight is what I looked up.

I had same problem with my blr,Gun city in Hamilton have hi viz front sights that fit a dovetail,I had a Remington rear sight on mine ,worked mint.think it was a muzzleloader set they had there ,should do the trick.

the $2 shop nail varnish isnt silly IF you add some glow in the dark powder off trademe...cost bugger all for a bag and it works a treat on foresights,shotgun beads,lightswitches...anything you want to find in the dark...doesnt take much and it glows like old school bedside alarm clocks did.... either apply varnish then dust with powder or tipp heap of powder into varnish and stir it heaps...dont be tempted to paint you big toenails with it or it will freak you out when you get up for a leak in the wee small hours and see these glowing things below you LOL.

Maybe give the Hamilton clay bird club a call or the Matamata one.
