    Browning A bolt thoughts

    Gday guys my mate is after a new rifle I can't help him with this advice as I have never owned one but he is after a new 308 rifle he is looking at a browning a bolt blued synthetic bare rifle is $999
    What's people's thoughts on this rifle accuracy wise etc

    If its new, that is pretty cheap, they used to sell for double that.

    New version been out for a while at $999 Sold a few of them and the customers seem happy with how they shoot .

    Only down side , if I'm right
    Is a bolt doesn't have adjustable trigger
    That right?

    Is it the Abolt 3
    If so, built for a price to compete with the cheaper end of the Remington, Ruger etc market.Stock in particular is basic

    Not saying it's bad as I have only handled but never used one, just be aware , if it's the 3, it's not their best work but quite possibly as accurate as your mate will need

    If it's the Abolt 11 that some one has on special, buy it.
