What weight and type of bullet?

I agree that its a great calibre. Its got good magnum performance and is the most tolerable of the factory magums in the unmoderated recoil department (for me, anyway). The 270wsm works well with a 22' barrel too. The 2 saum factory calibers are right there too but aren't available in new factory rifles (7mm & .30).

I have a hankering to try a 6.5PRC too, but I doubt it will do anything the 270wsm can't do.
