    Browning X-Bolt rebarrel costs

    Hi all,

    Just wondering if anyone has rebarreled a Browning X-Bolt and could share the all up price, or ball park anyway.

    Toying with the idea of rebarreling my 7mm rem mag to a shorter barreled rifle with less case capacity, such as 6.5 PRC as it has same bolt face. Wouldn't be looking at top of the range match barrels, just one suitable for hunting.

    I am not sure but imagine it would just require a change in barrel and it will be good to go as the bolt face would be the same and I assume magazine will be fine?

    Weighing up this option vs selling the rem mag and getting something else.

    Shorten the chamber on the existing barrel to 7mmSaum or WSM. Or: sell the rifle to me for $50 and get something else.
