Post a picture and all the BSA fans will (salivate) comment. I am not a BSA expert (owned a 222 Monarch long time ago) but the earlier models (early Monarchs and Hunters) are classics and fetch good money even in knackered condition. The last of the BSAs (CF2) definitely not classics but have their fans. I had the Monarch in 222 which although a nice gun was a large action for a small cartridge, with a spacer in the mag - not very nice. Potentially, if your gun is one of the older classics you could eather do it up and have a lovely gun, or sell it for reasonable money which would partially fund a new gun.
