Cheers mate, yeah it's a bit of a one off, maybe a few of the chopper boys or forestry shooters back in the day ran them like this but not many if any ( stolen Scribe line ) are about any more.
Really lovely old girl who has probably seen a lot of work / action but with the new barrel has been given another lease on life .
I've had CZ and Tikka along with Rem's , all have been very good , safe , reliable and with a good operator behind the trigger doing the basic's all sub MOA. ( i am an average shooter , my opinion )
I really didn't expect much from an old BSA , especially from one from the later stages of the production run but even in a pretty unloved state she showed she is keen. @gundoc is currently weaving his magic on her, I haven't felt so connected and excited about a rifle for a long time, basically just a cool old gun, I fucken hate any rifle that's not accurate but this does the business, some NZ history that I feel privileged to carry .
