@Coelacanth Just found out that the CF2 thread shorter. Found this on another forum.

"The BSA CF2 the thread Dia is 1.118" of 12 TPI Whitworth form ( 55 Degrees)

What the factory specs are I do not know butt hat's the measurement taken off the barrel I was working with. The CF2 has a shorter tenon than the Earlier Models as I found out when fittign the CF2 barrel to a Monarch action. Thread size and form remained the same."
