    BSA Majestic Magazine spring

Anyone have a magazine spring to fit a short action .308 BSA Majestic? Or a Mauser one would work too I think.

My old BSA .308 is out of action because I took the magazine spring out to try in another rifle as a control test - as that one wasnt feeding quite right - and somehow I have bent the spring the wrong way or something and the BSA will not feed at all anymore. I have spent hours trying to get it to go again. This is quite the tragedy as this old rifle has been a faithful companion for a long time.

Or any leads on who might have one. It's a single shot at the moment.

Ive got other rifles here I have tried to copy them but I cant get it to work. This rifle fed perfectly since 1963, then I fiddle with it for three minutes yesterday and it doesnt go at all.

I have a contact in Hastings called Simply Springs who can make any spring you need at very reasonable prices.

Just had a new spring manufactured for a BSA Hunter 222 by Simply Springs, stainless cost $46, received it back within 3 days of them receiving sample. Can supply you with a photo of how your Majestic medium action spring should look and sit.
