Thread: BSA Rebarrel

Just wondering what the approx cost would be to throw a new barrel on my Monarch. It’s still going ok, and thinking out loud but would be good to take it back out over 20 inches. I’d probably give the stock a birthday as well.
I’m jumping the gun asking you guys, but have only just had this thought. Will give a few smithys a call/email tomorrow to find out how many kids I need to sell.

Exiting, wish it was me. Circa $1000 I think.

......ok..... might just tart the stock up abit then. And get something boring like a t3 for doing the hard yards.
Be staying with the 270, it’s what I know and like.

I may have a BSA 270 barrel coming up for sale. Good nick. But I need to find a day to get to my gunsmith to sort out the new barrel. Give me a couple of weeks.

Do they share the same thread, blah, blah. What else is involved, headspacing etc?.
