Hi all. At the NZAHAA auction yesterday in Invercargill I noticed a very nice .30/06 BSA Royal rifle (circa 1955) on a sales table, fitted with its original 4x Pecar scope. The rifle was tidy externally with most original blueing and stock finish although there are some minor marks from hunting trips. Mechanically the rifle is excellent with a perfect bore (apparently fired no more than 60 rounds) and the scope is clear. All in all, an excellent example of a classic rifle that could be restored to near new condition with little effort. The price was a very realistic $850. If you have serious interest then PM me and I will forward the contact details of the seller.
