    The worst part is how much they have chopped off the back to get the dot sight mounted.
    If they milled of too much it wrecks it a bit

    Yeah nah, a lot of those vintage P14s have naff barrels.
    If he has wrecked the action fitting the red dot it's only good for the lower metal, stock and bolt
