About LinkBacksremington 22 (and maybe others) use an especially dirty powder made by dupont
years ago i sacrificed 20 bullets of many brands and emptied the powder out onto a piece of formica then lit each pile with a lighter. by far the remington ammo was dirtier and left a tar like residue.
CCI for me nowadays or more stripping down the rifles for cleaning
