It was the only ammo I have had trouble with in my 10/22. A few split cases which got stuck as a result.
When it worked (99% of the time) it was accurate, and killed good.

Went to buy a brick of power point which I have used forever and they were like 99$ or some such, last brick I bought was 40 something$
Wasn't till I got it home I noticed it was a different grain bullet as well 36 not 40, dunno how it goes yet as I still have 2 boxes of power point left.

@Mauser308 yup it was my go-to ammo for the 22. Funnily enough 22 zapper was pretty much interchangeable performance and sighting in wise but they don't do that anymore do they? I have maybe 4 packets left. tried a packet of the new heavy Winchester subs at the range t'other day. First time ever I had subs not cycle the action in the 10/22. And it is clean as. Not a bad grouping at fiddy but I might try the 40gr ones for shits and giggles. Especially if it cycles the action properly

I tend to just stick with CCI std velocity and prefer shooting subsonic.
Up until recently they were $60 per 500, but price has increased to $65 now.
I'm willing to pay a little extra for them being subs and the fact they don't shoot 4" groups at 50m.
i had my eye on ammo direct's reminton thunderbolt, i shoot 1000+ a month, anyone had experience with the thunderbolt, especially on semi?
