Is there a budget pathway to get into a 7mm SAUM without spending $2k or over?

Say, 22" barrel and under 6.75lb?

What about re-chambering a 7/08 Tika or Rem 700?

There are factory barrels

I may have a couple for sale soon amongst a few others once I pull my finger

There is a Model 7 708 on trade me for $650 stainless too. Might just be as to ream it out and open bolt face. Although the factory Model 7 7 SAUM barrel is a heavier contour than the 708.
