    I have the rimfire version of the Nikon Prostaff and its actually quite nice, I'd probably rate it above a VX1 optically. Its all very well people suggesting Bushnell Elite etc, they are nicer but also another price range up.

    Check your mounts and rings are tight before spending the money on a new scope though if its only holding zero that you aren't happy with.
