I don't use a bum bag Jojiyo, I use a 15l day pack with water bladder (and quite coincidentally it is a Stoney Creek). There are other brand names out there equally as good though.

I have the Stoney Creek 7 pocket bum bag.

It seems to be well made and can hold heaps in the pockets, certainly hold enough for a day trip.

I don't use it any longer for two reasons

Nowhere to carry water unless your water bottle is quite small.

    Ad the biggest reason.

The bloody thing continually slips down off my hips and I have to keep pulling it up which pisses me off no end.

As a result I use a day pack with a 2l bladder installed in it, problems solved.

    Cheers

I have a Ridgeline 5 pocket bum bag which I modified so my hydro bladder can clip onto it. Stops the bum bag from slipping down.

Find my Stoney Creek 7 pocket excellent and holds everything I need for a day trip, as long as there is a stream to top up my water bottle from.
Doesn't slip down off my hips and I'm very happy with it.

The one that unclips from the top of my Eberlestock Dragonfly pack. Holds a bladder and heaps of other shite. Can slip down if you don't do it up tight enough though.

Karrimor Sf 30 hydro ruck sack i got earlier this year is working out pretty good , got a real old 7 B/B pocket thats been ok , had one of them megga buck B/B mentioned above which filled with water in heavy down pours thru the yoke strap slot where the strap enters the main bag , the strap would slip thru the snap buckle when wet and the Bum bag would end up down below ya arse that and wet shit in the main bag was faark'n annoying . ( found an internet pick of a Hydro 30 being worn ) , there Comfy water proof and don't snag easy in the srub .
