    Burris Droptine 4.5-14x42mm - opinions/glass quality

Hi all, thinking of getting a Droptine scope for a short 7mm08 setup.

I would appreciate your opinions and experience with this scope.

    Cheers

It'll do the job, those cheaper Burris scopes are ok, but a hunting scope with a bell end parallax adjuster is a proper pain in the arse & can be problematic.

If you can stretch ya budget to a 2-10 or 3 -15 Signature HD model you won't regret it, they are great value scopes & perform well ( shop around or find a nice 2nd hand one, I flicked mine a while back for 900'ish )
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!

Cheers mate. I went with a Burris Fullfield IV for now, because of the bell end parallax. This will get me up and running for now, but will keep an eye out for a signature HD after I've recovered from all the XMas expenses.
