Burris Eliminator 6
Hello Folks - a young fellow came to the range this arvo to zero his new 300 PRC equipped with an Eliminator 6. We got the rifle zeroed at 100M (+/- about an MOA, it was a bit of a snotty handful) and chonied the ammo. He updated the app and we went to 600Y . . . . "the man in the shop said it would be fine". Well he was 450mm low (4 or 5 shots, not much wind) and we were out of light, and his light rifle was knocking him around. The scope was giving the correct range but not the right aiming solution
Anyone played with one of these, I just downloaded and skim read the manual but am not much the wiser. Would be good to help the young guy out.

I'd love to visit your range one of these days. Won't have anything fancy pants like that though. Just a 60yr old sako 30-06 with a little z3.
Dunedin range is closed for two months and I'm stuck with no zeroed rifles.

Just sing out with a day or two's notice and I'm sure we can accommodate you.

In The Burris app, there are a shedload of variables to mess with. When you set up the projectile bc you can choose g1 or g7 drag. Anything there you can second guess?

Doesn't sound good for such an expensive toy. Hopefully, you can get it sorted.

If it's giving the correct range but not the correct ballistic solution then it's going to be wrong inputs to the ballistic solver isn't it?
