Do you put the +0.20 in the front ring on the bottom half and the -0.20 in the back on the bottom half or the other way round? I'm confused:pissed off:

+ at the back I'd say
And you WON'T get 20 MOA like they say.
All depends on rings spacing etc - and I'd be damned if you could get 20 MOA out of mine in anyway let alone actually mounting a scope
They are nice rings - just a bit miffed that they say 20 MOA where in fact its not ... I needed 20 hence why I brought them lol
Yeah I like them, just did it then so its pretty quick. Hope this rain clears for tomorrow...
Are you heading up to Leith Valley tomorrow Wildmann
Hope yo, OJR thought you might be too. Got a spare hand? I have about 5 rifles that need sorting...
2 spare hands. I'm going to function test the AR and do some 6.5 loads if I can be arsed loading them some time. I'll be up there about 1 I guess.
and by function test I mean "blast randomly at shit"
Neat. See you there.
I got the burris rings too. Got roughly 15MOA out of them.
Those marks are thou aren't they?? in a short action its close to MOA but in a long its not so close.... - under the front ring + under the rear
They are fractions of an inch...

Here's a link to a maths formula to work out how much gain you will get from the inserts.

It looks like the distance the rings are apart is the key. For my 94mm ring to ring distance, I should get very lose to 40moa using .020 front and back.
Question for the guys who are using these. Do you find that the inserts hold the scope securely, any issues ?
tx leathel, that is good news
the scope I am trying to lift has already been graunched by rings so cosmetics is no longer a factor ;)
Yeah they are bloody good and cheaper than a rail.
I've always been a fan of the Burris Z Sig rings.
Currently have them on my Vepr rail, which came off centre, so rather than knock the pins out to adjust, I just put in the 20 moa offsets.
Got my rings and insert kit yesterday.
Installed them last night +20 at back (bottom) and -10 at front (bottom).
Confirmed 30MOA gain at the range this morning, 2 full turns, very happy camper
I see the Signature Zee rings are available in both 1 inch and 30mm versions.
But the pos-align inserts only seem to be avaialble in 1 inch, at least all the online stores I am checking...
So what gives ? Do you get 30mm inserts, surely the 1 inch inserts wont work in the 30mm rings ?
The 30mm Zee rings come with 2 sets of +/-10 inserts, but looks like you're right and you can't get any further alternatives. Even the burris website seems to only show the 1" extra inserts, no 30mm.
I've got the 30mm Zees and very happy with them.. rock solid.
Ta striker, at least 20moa is better than nothin, just seems like most of the "nice" scopes I am looking at are 30mm :indifferent :
