Be very keen to see how it stacks up against the delta titanium as i just bought one based on the review that @thar did on his one. Be a bit dark if the burris at 700 bucks is as good on last light. The suspense waiting for the next installment is killing me....

@Blackfern Might be a few days 'cos Im taking my Grandson out for an overnighter tomorrow.
But the Delta Titanium is damn good glass. I shot a stag at 5.45pm last night and it was great. 4-24 'scope and I wound it up until things looked right. I looked at the power ring after the 184 yard shot and it was on 16 power which was pretty good for that time in the evening.

I am sure you wont have any worries :-)
You have illumination - Side Focus - interchange Turrets - higher mag

All optics I have trialed - its that last 20mins of daylight that sorts the wheat from the chaff
Build quality is also a hidden feature that only shows over time

Rule on Optics in general is
$$ spent - governs quality received

I love my Delta taitainum the extra mag range is awesome and the turret adjustment is always spot on.
The only negative is the zero stop the tiny screw needs to be an allen screw.

I put a delta titanium 4-20 up against my old zeiss MC 6-20. Wasn't impressed with the delta at all. no where as bright at high power, and surprisingly it was very distorted at low power. Only the middle was in focus.

Seems to be the opposite to what everyone else thinks which is strange? Especially seeing as others prefer them to swarovski z5s and leupold vx5s etc

The relevant word here is "subjective". Context/lighting/background/focus adjustment can all play a part.

In this context, it's hardly like you're comparing a $20 ChungWah with a top end Euro. They're all pretty good to start with.

    My guess is
Misunderstanding on what SF does - or needed adjustment
Failing that - something wrong with scope

I didn't find that at all with the 4-24 x 50 or the 1.5 -9 x45. They were super clear and focused perfectly through the mag range, we had one on a rifle and one on a rifle stock to compare with the other scopes that were on rifles. We did change diopter focus and side focus for each of the three blokes in turn
