Pretty solidly built, hence they are reasonably heavy.
What sort of shooting will you be doing? Normal hunting, but want the turret set up?
Or do you want to use it on an AR for service rifle/3gun style?

Me and a mate have a Bushnell ar 4.5- 18 nice clear scopes. Seem to dial well we did a 150 yard and shorter 22 tactical comp and I used his rifle and every target I dialed for I hit untill I got to the standing stuff then I failed haha . I also have one on my tikka 260 and it seems fine I'm yet to do any long range stuff with it though but otherwise very happy for price

The Nikon P-223 series have dial turrets, around the same price (ie $30 USD more) and are 25% lighter.
Have a look at those too.

Got my bushnell AR 2-7 on my 10 22. Very happy with the build quality and clarity. And the Bullet drop compensator reticle is spot on for cci minimag.
But if you are putting it on a 243, the bdc reticle won't get much use I guess. I believe other then the 2-7 I got , all other ar models are built and calibrated to 223.

I also have a 4.5-30 elite tactical on my 6.5 Creedmoor. Very happy with the performance. Plus 1 for bushnell
