I assume it's the 2mp I looked at one after using the arctic fox on a friends bullpup sks. Ended up getting a vortex sparc, I thought it was more versatile smaller, and if you want magnification screw on the doubler plus the warranty is evidently as good as it gets.
The magnifiers are poor apparently with the vortex. Im looking at the reviews of the bushnell and they are not good on the 2mp at all, poor quality, I'll avoid them. The vortex yeah should be OK.

I've only used the magnifier a couple of times and yes although it's quite clear it doubles the dot size as well so there is no real gain, plus the field of view is halved. I find that I shoot as well without it. Ageing eyes was the reason for getting it, cant really use tangent sights anymore and even the front sight on my 3030 with a lyman aperture is getting a little blurry.
If you're talking about the MP, acog looking one, I've got the 1x version. I really rate it, the glass is clear, and the reticle is crisp. The 1 moa dot is great for precision (well as precise as you can get with a 1x), and the t-dot is great for getting on target fast.
A 2x version should be pretty similar, my only caution would be that 2x isn't much magnification wise, depending on what you're shooting.
Does Bushnell do a 3x version? That would probably be almost perfect.
I just got my Vortex Spitfire x3 Prism scope today, prefer that to a red dot and magnifier.
I also rate the Vortex reticle more than the Burris AR 132/332/536 reticle.
Its prob the best option if you don't want to pay for a Trijicon ACOG.
