    Bushnell Elite 6500 1.25-8 x 32

    Bushnell - 1.25-8x 32mm - Multi-X

    Anyone used/using one of these? Looking at getting one and be interested in any first hand experience

    Yes I had one, it was pretty damn heavy but nice optics and adjustments. I sold it and bought a Weaver Super Slam 2-10 which I prefer.

    Hmm those super slams look like a nice all round scope.

    I own both a Super Slam and a Bushnell Elite 6500.

    I'm not sure which scope I prefer as I've only just mounted the Bushnell and haven't really put it through its paces as yet.

    I have got a 3-15x40 Weaver Super Slam on my 22 mag - good scope but bloody heavy and bigger than I would want on a deer rifle.

    Shamus, they are very short in the tube and that really limits mounting options. Coupled with a short eye relief it made my one impossible to get mounted correctly (on a 243 xbolt). Couldn’t use it.

    Nice ‘scope and glass though.
