Bushnell elite tactical
Talking with a few boys in the US re custom builds i was interested to hear scope choices
Not surprisingly high end model vortex, zeiss, leupold and nightforce were quoted but on top of this a massive and surprising interest and raving about bushnell elite tactical scopes??
Anyone here rocking one and how good are they really? What are they on par with? Ie a comparrison
Pricing's not bad but being a leupy fan im hard swayed

Doc Watson was raving about his the other day.
In fact I don't think it was an elite... actually a lower end model.
I too have been reading about them punching well above their price range.. I reckon you can't go wrong unless you get a faulty one and in that case it does not matter how high end it is if it does not work.

Introducing the Bushnell LRHS Riflescope - YouTube
looks like it would be a good all rounder. They also have a 3-21
-
Yeah the mag range seemed crazy
Particularily the XRS
-
I've handled a few and quite like them. I may buy one yet.

Bushnell sadly for me has such a stigma attached for glass like coke bottle bottoms and fogging up id really like to be proven wrong as the pricing is great.........

Glass on the Elite series is very good IMO

Bushy have a wide range of price points , from very cheap to dear , as they are built for them by a alot of different companys , to very different specs & prices .
As an example , the 3-12x44mm LRHS , is made by the same company that make NF in Japan , so its not a cheap Bushy , I have one on my 22 Hornet at the moment , and its going just fine , good glass & nice adjustments .
So do research on the model you are interested in , as they all are very different , I would also look at the new Burris XTRIIs they seem to be getting godd reviews as well , there is a 4-16x version of the LRHS out soon as well .

I imported an elite tactical 4.5-30 with target torrent. Real happy with it. It is a bit on the heavy side being the only down side. The new FFP models are apparently even better. More compact as well.
