Here is the update. my mate has fowarded the serial number to ampro, and they are able to check it in the global database. Once they confirm it is a fake one, they will take action and get involved with trademe. :thumbsup:

Bushnell scopes are cheap enough why not buy a new one from a retailer and get a factory warranty,
Buying off TM sellers you have no come back if it is a lemon,
As far as quality in scopes go Leupold is as low as I go though I do have some US and a Japanese Weavers.
