Its a KRG bolt lift. They are designed for the Rem700s but with a bit of judicious grinding it now fits the savage.
Beats knocking against the scope every time I work the bolt.

That shooter is a "3 bagger" - one over your face, one over the rifle and one for anybody else that happens to turn up

True I could have got a pretty gun like a remmy but I didn't see the point in getting something that had to go to a gunsmith to shoot as well as a savage out of the box

Much prettier than the plastic fantastic T3 or SPS owned by most people who make those comments! (No idea if that includes you or not but I couldn't help but bite )

Anyone would think you guys don't like Savage rifles. Nothing wrong with them
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

That is butt ugly. Never really understood a oversized bolt handle on a hunting rifle. Just something else to get hooked up on shit and annoy the crap out of you.

Have to give it to GravelBen though...you're pretty consistent with the push for Savages mate

What can I say, I like them and get sick of people giving them unjustified crap! I do the same thing when people ty to tell me Subarus are unreliable...

On second thoughts, maybe I should slag them off too so there are more bargains around for me!
