Thread: Can I send my famley an 80% lower?

Hello,

I'm located in the United States, but my sister and brother in law are located in NZ. So my question is can I send them an 80% lower for Charismas sense it's not a firearm? The ATF has already determined 80% lower are not firearms in the U.S, but I don't know how the authorities in NZ feel about it.

Yeah, pretty sure they are going to treat it as a standard lower, and hence a firearm. Not worth the risk. As far as I know there is no legal president for it here, and given the current climate I think you would be asking for trouble.

Hipsters are slightly different here. You take that back. Just cos the name sounds the same does not make it so, Sandals and Jandals are as different as a falling block versus a lever action- similar to a numpty who does not know the difference but very different. Like Carob and Choclate, Tea or Coffee or KFC or Pizza.

You find Jandals on normal people, you find sandals on all sorts of oddfellows....Its worse when they put socks on (Which they cannot do with jandals easily)

I prefer our system to that in the US, where they have ITAR who make legislation no one understands, gets interpreted a thousand different ways and if you get it wrong you go to prison. Getting a free import permit is far easier.

ITAR is based off ATF regulations.
