Can I swap a bolt between two rifles?

Long story short, I have 2 Remington 700s chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, but only 1 bolt.

Can I get the 1 with a missing bolt headspaced by a gunsmith, so that I can use the bolt for both?

The Rem700 missing a bolt is brand new without a single shot fired. I feel like it's worth more to me than selling the barrel. I want to chop the barrel short and use it as a farm hunting rifle.

    Short answer yes.
If you are lucky you may not have to do anything. It may check out and head space fine.
If it's too tight, they can run a reamer into it to make it right.
If it's too loose it will cost more as the barrel will have to be removed, some machining done. With s9me luck they won't have to put the reamer into it

    Thanks for the replies.

I'm keeping my eye on the listing.

I'll keep that in mind Tentman. Thanks
