Yea I like my spartan which I carry in my daypack. Only use it for longer shots so usually have plenty of time to get set-up

Life is the art of drawing without an eraser
Nice video @burtonator cheers
Have you thought about just getting a quick release for your Harris? No expensive cost then
Dont waste your time chasing every last fps, it doesnt matter in the real world, it wont make a difference, all it will do is cause head aches and frustrations. And dont listen to silly old cunts
There was a similar thread not long ago, and I believe mtngear is coming out with a titanium/carbon bipod soon. It may be worth waiting and looking at that?
Great video @burtonator , they look awesome and NZ made as well , now I want one .....
I hear MTN won't be releasing their bipod anymore unless they can find another manufacturer. Apparently the design was virtually a copy of the CKYE pod concept. Cost of production was through the roof and it would never have been profitable
As far as I’m aware the mtngear bipod is still in production and is what I’ll be holding out for. It looks the business!
@Liam258 yeah pics please if you have some, I am considering a Backlanz but do want to keep my options open. I just want a decent lightweight carbon bipod I can run on everything from a Magnum to a .22, that I can use at the range and hunting on and off the rifle where needed.
The Backlanz seems to tick those boxes, especially good to hear the MKII has come out and it has less play in it. I don't mind paying a bit extra for a bipod / adapters if it is going to do what I want.

@308mate I sent him I message on his Facebook page where he sent me a video of the prototype. Probably easiest to send him a message via Facebook if you want to see it and get further details. This video was posted on another thread where you can see it in use at the start.

Hey fellas. Thanks for the intel, I really appreciate it. What a great forum.
Neopod. Ridiculously light. Easy on and off. Yet to miss an animal with it
