He's pretty clever played with his bipod when I met him while out hunting. Thinks differently and comes up with some unique solutions as ugly as it is that rifle is damn light.

Yeah mate, I’m going to order a MTN stick. They look like a great piece of kit too.

I bought @craigc a mountain stick. He finds it very useful I think. Its very well thought out and made too.

Interesting not what I heard. Must have gone to an overseas manufacturer as the only manufacturer in NZ refused to make their parts. I’d be very surprised if the bipod is as claimed..

It would be very naive to believe there is only one manufacturer in nz capable of producing his bipod.

By the only manufacturer I assume you mean Ram 3D if it was supposed to printed part and they refused due to printing the Backlanz Bipod components. No reason it couldn't be getting machined plenty of machinists around.

If your were to machine that bipod you would be looking 500g + easy

I have done some work for them and I support Backlanz yep but I am not the opposition. I just know the in’s and outs of the design work the goes into this stuff.
I am pretty passionate about Backlanz I would admit that.

Thanks for sharing this great review. I haven't yet been able to physically see a Backlanz Bopod as the gunshops here in Nelson seem not to stock them. Your video was very helpful and I'm definitely leaning towards a Baccklanz as I want to carry the rifle with Bipod attached in the same way that I currently use my Harris. One question - is your Backlanz a Version 1 or version 2? I cant seem to find much info about the difference between the two versions.

Not really a good look for Backlanz (and I actually have one - good product) because you really do have a conflict of interest. Bagging and undermining other businesses really does annoy me. There are a couple of business people that do it here and on social media. It makes me reluctant to purchase from them regardless of the quality of their product.
