Yip I've had 3 or so of the Hardy you save a bit of weight they don't shoot any better than most other brands.
The bigger dia ones can limit you to using a hardy surpressor, they cost about same as a flutted barrel.

I’ve had one too. Definitely light for its size. Trouble with light skinny steel and particularly fluted is how finicky they are. Get hot after 1 shots and nowhere near as stiff. Plus I find flutes sometimes are very inconsistent when warm. My current light weight custom lone peak Ti action Carbon stock it has a smooth 2b bartlien barrel is <0.25 MOA. Still only a few rounds between rests but great precision.

I found my hardy barrel really consistent and not fussy at all. Highly recommended. Anyway Just bought another but proof research this time around. Their finishing is just the next level up. Weigh like a feather weight but shoot like a match barrel.

I have had a Hardy, it didn’t shoot like I expected so I went with proof, on my second one now they are amazing accuracy wise and clean up easy as.

Would not hesitate to get another Proof.
    Warm Barrels!
