Apologies if this has been done before but I'm considering a Moderator for my Remington Stainless BDL 25/06
Iv'e just spent a ton of money on it, ordering a Hardy Carbon Fibre Stock for it to replace the heavy crappy poly carbonate factory stock, so I dont want to add a bunch of weight to it with a heavy Moderator.
Does anyone do a Carbon Fibre Moderator in NZ , preferably over barrel? Are they any good, who does the best Moderators ?

Silencers are definitly in the eye of the beholder.
You got a Hardy stock, Did you ask them for a price and wieght check. 290gm for the lightest, but go heavier and you get more sound reduction.
Mantis get a few good referance's on here for their Carbon ones.
I've never see or used one so take that with a large grain of salt.

Hey I have a maniatis 6.5 mm carbon suppressor, really like it has the adaptive front cap so you can add front brake if wanted, really couldn't complain about the workmanship, really nicely made.
Great noise reduction, only comparison older gunworks and dpt.
I'm rebarreling to 7mmso will be surplus to requirements!

Look up maniatis gunsmiths. They do a carbon one.
Do you even get a Carbon suppressor? I thought they all aluminium or steel wrapped in a carbon sleeve. Same as "carbon" barrels
