    Carbon Fibre Stock

    Hi All
Need to buy a replacement carbon fibre stock for a hunting/competition rifle.
Looking at a McMillan A3 which I already have and like or a Southfort Best of the West series - I have only briefly held one but liked.
Anyone own/use the southfort and can comment?

I have a Southforte Best of the west c/o a forum member here. While it has a relatively high comb with a 34mm scope and 20MOA rail I still need to raise the cheek piece. But for a hunt / comp rifle you may be ok without an additional riser. It seems well beded without the need for pillars or v channels and gets 1/2 MOA out to 600 yds so far.
I like the stock, but I have no other CF stocks to compare it with.

Some of the things I like

Very vertical pisol grip, great for prone shooting
good high comb ( was fine for a 30 mm tube scope)
Atlas bottom metal is well fitted
The stud hole thingys for swivels etc are a nice touch
Good and lightweight, but seems well made.

Apparently ken henderson might be releasing a tactical style stock soon. Maybe best to talk to him directly about it actually?

I believe Ken already has a tactical style stock. Ordered 1 of his as part of a build last year and had the option of sporter or tac

I have 2x CF stocks from Kiwi Comp/South Fort. Highly rate them.

1x on an T3x and another on a Sako 85

Is the southfort = kiwi composites ?
It's hard to find much about their stocks online, have just been in touch by phone.
