I would be inclined to get an endorsed one if you are going to drop that much coin. 30 rounders are cheap lol

I think I'd rather an MSAR than Steyr, a bit lighter. Pretty sure there's a model with a STANAG magwell too, wifi is blocking 'weapons' sites though so I can't check

I really want a ACR but my ATM/Wife won't let me withdraw that kind of money.

I'm a wonderful combination of joyously single, and woefully financially irresponsible.

I would own one in a heartbeat as long as it was an Austrian one. Great bits of kit. They are genuine self cleaning as far as the gas system goes. Barrels need a touch up every 2-300 rounds but the gas plug and piston just stay the same as far as carbon buildup goes. Very accurate as a rule.
Do what ya want! Ya will anyway.

They're awesome, I've only used the early NZDF ones with full auto as an option (which is awesome fun to shoot on by the way). I really like how compact and easy to carry they are and how easily they are stripped down for cleaning, they are brick sh1thouse robust too. I would quite like an a cat version for those features alone but especially with the barrel off it would easily go into a backpack for discrete transport (it takes all of 10 seconds on a bad day to take on and off). Get it before I convince myself I need one!
