    Centrefire subsonic without suppressor - how loud?

    Please humour me. Any experiences of centrefire subsonic rounds without a suppressor? How loud are they? As loud as supersonic with a suppressor? Which calibres? I know it's hard to quantify, just want to get an idea.

    Using the 300BLK louder than supersonics with the suppressor on. Not the type of thing a would want to do without hearing protection now days as I’ve only got 25%-30% of my hearing left from years of abuse.
