    Cerakote Armour Black and Cobalt

Poor Stu from greystone has had me change my mind on the colour about 15 times. Having my little bush pig done for shits and giggles.

Has anyone had a rifle done in armour black or cobalt?

Pictures would be appreciated. Need to let him know by Monday

    Cheers

Thank double shot. So would that pic show it much lighter than reality?

Question: I choose Graphite Black for a now-retired Sig P229 because the very-flat Armour Black finish looked slightly splotchy the photos. Is the Armour Black finish even and consistent?

I've got armour black on my 6.5 Grendel and it looks just like the second photo above, nice even finish.

Hey @mcche171 perhaps these photos will show how light changes the depth of Cobalt.

I like the Cobalt. Tungsten is a great colour as well

I hope these don't look splotchy.

Just re-read my earlier post. Didn't mean the photos here in this thread looked splotchy. I meant that when I cerakoted my old SIG, the Armor Black in the photos I saw online looked a bit irregular, so I chose Graphite Black instead.

    Carry on.

@mcche171 both are cobalt, it jus highlights the difference light makes on the colour.

I'm fantasising of having him Cerokote my Mitsy Triton in SOCOM blue with cobalt details.
