After a good dose of strong solvents it seems to be closing up again... hopefully it's fixed. Out of curiosity, how tight in a chamber should a bullet actually be? I've never bothered to actually test it but always imagined that if inverted the bullet would slide out under gravity... seems like it's actually quite a tight fit in there?
I doesn't sound right to me.
a military rifle should be able to run on a handfuls of mud and bullets not need extensive cleaning after 20 rounds.
I suggest a trip to the gunsmith.
