Thread: chassis for the mossberg patriot long action

I have done it again.
went to town on a very simple mission. Go and get dinner .....
came home with a new rifle . ( as you do)

Bought a 7mm prc in Mossberg patriot . New in its box .
Now i normally shoot 7mm-08 , and i like my remington 700 in 7mm-08 cause it shoots great . I trust it absolutely to be reliable out to 400 mts . But from time to time deer are further than that, so i have been secretly coveting a 7mm prc .

Heres the problem , i also decided i need a chasssis now as well. ( as you do )

So, i thought i,d ask the guys for advice as to what is around . I am aware of the oryx MDT stock , but what else might do ? i put a copy of pics in and a 7mm prc cartridge alongside my standard 7mm-08 cheers les btw my remington will be for sale shortly .

Sell the mossberg keep the rem. Done.
