Ozito grinder... Needed to repaint a swimming pool, and ground the surface of the entire pool smooth in preparation for epoxy paint, thinking I'd claim on the 3yr replacement warranty. Still have it and it is showing no sign of slowing down.

Same here. Got electrocuted by dodgy Makita 230mm grinder while halfway through a job cutting and bending up a heap of fence walkers for centre pivot irrigator. Needed to finish job so picked up a "cheap" ozito 230mm. That was a few years back now it's done tonnes of work and far outlived it's Makita predecessor and no signs of slowing down

I have nikko stirlings on most of my rifles with the intent of upgrading when they crap out. Still waiting....

The Back Country range of fleece clothing at the Warehouse.

Cheap and cheerful but hardy and long lasting. Particularly the bonded fleece pants with the waterproof bum and knee sections. I’ve worn those pants for three years now and can sit on wet ground quite happily glassing without a second thought. Very warm and the fleece is thick and repels water well. Believe me if they didn’t work well I wouldn’t wear them.

The only problem with them as I found out again yesterday is that they tend to hang onto the smell of deer and goat! Even after a couple of warm washes mine smell like something I just shot. But I’m guessing that’s probably quite a good thing…

You guys have no class. I mean, Bahco knives for heavens sake.
What if someone saw you using one? Do you not care about your image or reputations??

When my dad went to sweden for a business trip, he picked me up a few morakniv knives. Apparently some of these knives are incredibly cheap there, abuot 10 euros. I think here they cost 30 nzd+ which is not bad. I really like them.
I have also been pleased with the cheap headlamps from aliexpress, the one with three lamps that looks like this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32864262963.html. One of them that was almost a decade old has finally died, costed less than 20 nzd including batteries and shipping. Has served me well doing bunny shooting at night even in the rain. Looking to get another one with red or green LEDs since the bunnies are getting lamp-shy.

@Phil_H I have used them, but prefer the under $100 bucks German Army Flecktarn jackets version & have worn them for years hunting around the world , (also have the pants for spotlighting etc ),after having well healed clients in Europe use them over more fashionable versions. They use the German invented SympaTex material which out performs Gore Tex particularly in breath-ability (most important feature for me as l hate stewing away while glassing etc )& it is much quieter & flexible etc also far better camo for hunting ,obviously important while stalking etc & they are not bulky.Another great cheap & rugged alternative & they make great 'gifts' to give to farmers for access or others giving you a hand ,l wear mine on the farm often for its superior breath-ability while doing chainsaw work,fencing work etc in shitty weather ie all the F##kn time.
