Pondering a cheap scope to slap on my AR15 just to shoot to 100yds to do some testing not much magnification needed, just enough to get over my eye sight limitations x3 or so maybe even a fixed?

Fixed 4x Leopolds come up cheep as on tardme fairly often. I have picked up a couple for around the $100 mark in the past.
what models are worth considering?

yeah I shoot FTR 308w (scope), 303british (sling and peep) target and wsra. So I bought the model 4 stag to shoot wsra so that means iron sights for service class. I also shoot no4 Enfield so I need to be able to mount a scope for that I suspect so I'll pick up an ATI? tool-less mount Ive seen about.Quote:
