from what Iv seen they would far prefer grass/almost any other broadleaf over the avos, they must be really hungry

rats are bastards that will take a bite out of every fruit on a tree to make sure they dont like any of them and any rat bite causes instant rejection when grading

This is probably a reflection of the fact that you are an avocado grower in an avocado growing region, while I am a farmer with a small avocado grove in an area of open grass pasture! Possum gourmet dining is grass in your area, avo in mine.
