Thread: Cheers HRE & NF

So last year I brought a couple of Nightforce NX8's off the NF King & all round GC Andy Animal, great scopes

Few weeks back while out doing some shooting & sighting in I was adjusting the zero stop turret & one of the grub screws stuck to the allen key - popped out - bounced off the bench & flew into the long grass, really fucked me off lol, I dug around attempting to find it for a while but was a lost cause it's tiny az.


Called into see Ian @ Hardy's, yup have em in stock & was free of charge, How good nothing better than buying quality

....you probably have a different perspective from everyone else when you have a lower center of gravity....

Good result for @Philipo & a good endorsement for both the product and the service from HRE - irrespective of how tall he isn't....

Takes a grub to lose a grub

Often cellphone cases have a magnet in the catch that keeps them closed

For such a small Allen headed machine screw you can use the phone case magnet to find the metal screw

Seems the NX8 turret has a little party trick of having the thread in the inner & the turret isn't threaded ( unlike my other scopes ) I unscrewed the two grubs & the turret had some suction so I thought it was still held in by the screws & then ended up fully winding it out, got stuck to the allen key then flicked off. If that makes any sense - clear as mud aye lol
