    Chiappa little badger

Hi, I thought I would start a thread on the little badger. If you would like to share any modifications you have done. The gun begs to be customised.

An easy way to add a 8 round bullet holder, right along side the breach. Is to use the spare plastic Picatinny rail. If you have either replaced the top one for aluminium. Or taken off the bottom rail to get it to fold down a little more. Turn it to face the existing rail so the square cut outs and mounting holes line up. You will need to buy longer 3mm screws. To go through both rails. Get a small file and open up the squares a little to fit your round. Easily done, easier to reload and it looks cool. You still can keep the 12 round holder at the rear of the stock to replenish your newly made 8 round holder.

I’ve seen a pic of someone using a hitch pin instead of the bolt, so you can have it as a take down rifle.

Hi Sixtus, do you know why they don’t want to sell these? Is it their size. To small when folded? I had a gun shop worker comment about the length when folded. His co worker made a quick rebuttal. About it’s legality. It is legal if when it is under 7.62mm or 30” long, and it cannot be fired. He is correct. The gun is fun to shoot. Almost weighs nothing. Very short so its easy to keep on target. Apart from the cheap plastic sights. Which you replace with optics there isn’t much to not like. Cheers for adding to my post. Brent

Hi Brent it was warranty issues but I will clarify this is just some local dealers, pretty remote region, over 3000km from the warranty centre. Cant say it was issues with the gun, it might just have been issues with distributors. I wanted to edit my above post after I made it to clarify what I meant, but I left it too late to change it.

The size is no problem here, I think unfolded 75cm is the minimum, same reasoning as your laws by the sounds, cannot be fired in its shortened form.
