Thread: Choosing calibre based on ammunition availablitiy

If it was me, I would buy a second hand rifle off here that is proven to shoot well from someone who will let you shoot it with them and coach you a bit. For a combination of rifle price and ammo it is hard to go past a 270. None of the common calibers mentioned can beat it's combination of flat trajectory combined with knock down imo.
