    Chose between Sako or Tikka...

    I am considering buying a 9,3x62..

Not in NZ or Aus, but I have an "offer" on two rifles that are sold at a discount.
    Tikka T3 Hunter
    Sako 85 Hunter

I dont have photos of either.

    Both blued and walnut stock.
    Tikka without open sights
    Sako With open sights..

    So, I would use:
    Tikka: Optics and suppressor
Sako: Ghost / peep sight, no suppressor

Complete set up with optics and silencer:
    T3: 4080

Complete set up with Ghost/peep sight, no silencer.
    85: 3260

    Go with the Sako.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

You haven't stated what you want to do which will determine your choice, wooded areas or driven shooting Sako. Areas with multiple chances of game and where shots are past 100yds or so, Tikka. Both will shoot as good as each other, the Sako being a bit more refined.

The T3 will boot you into next week because of the stock design, go with the Sako for that reason only.

Do you want it as a dangerous/driven game rifle? No way I would choose an 85 action for that role with its record for piss poor ejection the tikka would be way more reliable

    10! has 270 divisors

257Weatherby: I have an take off Tikka Forest stock I can use and sell the factory stock.

Ryan_Songhurst. The 85 wouldn't have much problem with ejection with open sighs I belive. All I have read is that it ejects brass into the scope.

    1000% the sako
The tikka would be nice but it is the budget version of the sako in every way
