Will soon be getting a carbon fibre stock off them for my Blaser. They aint cheap and thats just for a stock.:XD:
I have heard all sorts of good things about the rest of their gear.
I have one of their Rem LA carbon classic stocks weighing in at 18 oz.
Its an absolute work of art without a single visual flaw inside or out.
Its stunning.
The stocks do look nice on their rifles. I'd be interested to see how your Blaser stock looks R93. If its nice I might buy one and build a blaser from parts using Abe's receivers and aftermarket barrels.
If you don't mind me asking, how much is it Dave? And what's the delivery time on it?
Very light carbon wrapped barrels using mostly Rem700 actions. Sub 6lb magnums may be a bit savage in the recoil department I would think.
They do carbon R93 barrels too Dave!
Was chatting to one of the staff in DED and it sounds like it's possible to purchase a Christensen Arms barrel of your choice or barrel blank if you want a wildcat - a Remington or Rem clone titanium action, carbon barrel and carbon stock and you would have a pretty light weight rig!
The mcmillan range anywhere from 3 to 10 oz heavier in the same profile type.
I have not lightened mine yet, and there are plenty of places to remove material if need be.
I would not buy from DED I have asked for prices on items in the past and got no reply
Haha holy shit $1900US for a stock?? They're dreaming
Fucken more money than sence
Good quality rifles and women are not cheap.
Yes they make the edge tech stocks look below average at best, and i have tidied up a lot of edge tech stocks over the years, my earlier post mentions the christensen arms stocks as flawless, and they are.
I have a ABS carbon wrapped barrel on my AR bit not one of theirs
exactly like this
Attachment 8708
its a bloody ripper.
Rock Creek Cut Rifled Barrel Carbon wrapped. While it cost me an arm, 3 legs (remember I'm from the South Island so have a few spares) and while it totally hurt the wallet at the time was so worth it in the long run
Nope even if I coukd afford it im far to dutch for that. Whats so great about blasers apart from the straight pull?.

Neckshot, an R8 in rem mag would suit your next purchase
Shes used to your little weapon, tell her you have a magnum and she might let you back inside. (The house)
Aside from optics. I have 3 and soon to be 4 calibre's that all shoot better than I can, in one package, that has cost me less than 8k over 12 or so yrs.
No matter what barrel I have on, the ergos are pretty much the same.
Considering I would spend almost a 1/4 of that a year, on clay ammo I think it's good value.

The price of the base R93 isn't terrible really. It's just the peripherals that make me choke. On the stock, I don't remember them being awfully heavy to begin with?
Remember a Blaser stock is not a stock as such like a 700 or Sako. It is the platform for the entire system and has a lot more components installed. The bolt rail guides, the barrel block and trigger assay are considered as part of the stock. Do you get another trigger with the Christiansen Dave or do you need to swap out yours?
Less than 8 k over 12 years is hell cheap, pick any two rifles in my gunroom and 8k wont cover it, so to have 4 calibres/chamberings is very versatile and cost effective.
So blasers are cheap :)
