It was in reasonable condition.
First trial re size showed some rust in the body which i polished out with steel wool on a stick.
First bullet seating on a dummy round showed rust in the neck area which i reamed out perfectly with a 7mm chucking reamer.

It was missing a de capping rod which is a seperate loose part.
Made a new one. Seated a spent primer and tested the de capping punch. All good.

So now i have a fully functional ols school 25-35 reloading tool.
Also have modern dies, cases, projectiles and a chamber reamer .
But don't yet own a 25-35 rifle !
Need to do something about that

Refurbished a reloading tool for a calibre you don't own! You are truly a far gone handloader. Something for we lesser mortals to aspire to.

@grandpamac there is a 25-35 build in line. But it's a long line and there are a few others to get through before it comes to the top
And all sorts of random opportunities keep jumping the queue

I have everything 25-35 related except the rifle !
My barrel maker has even brought the .25 caliber drill, reamers and rifling button to make me the barrel
I just need to build the single shot action for it to go on or find a suitable vintage single shot action to restore for the barrel

How about a large Martini action? My .30-40 Krag (.30 us Army) Martini was a .30-30 for a while.

@grandpamac I'm just about to start building a single shot action from scratch and if it's successful it might become the 25-35
Or I could do a change barrel for my Stevens 44 1/2
