Ha - well just got pricing on the Legacy (I did find one available) and its way too rich for my blood, might just have to slum it with the Remmy guys a bit longer!
Nothing wrong with the Rem Mod 7 in 223, not to expensive but nice shooters and good to carry around.
Just did the google thing on the Legacy , man that’s actually a bloody nice looking rifle
Grooved receiver and all

dont think there is anything that comes close to the shultz legacy. true mini action, three lug 70 deg bolt throw....and comes in left hand!
Yes - it the pick of them but just hard to justify, I'm thinking I might put my funds to a nice "Remmy clone" short action and build from there . . .
I tried that, bought a Rem 700 ADL in .223 & was surprised at the weight of the rifle.
I weighed the rifle when I got it.
Remington ADL .223 weights
Stock - 1000 grams
Bolt - 390 grams
Action & barrel - 4015 grams (4.1 kg)
I was hoping to flute the bolt, hopefully shave off weight on the action, Gunworks can assist on that & get a better lighter barrel where I wanted a 6x45
In the end like a magpie something else nice & shinny caught my attention so the project never eventuated.
You can take the Jongmans home for a trial Foster, I'll just manage with the Weatherby in the interim.
Yep, 5.1 kg which is what the kitchen scales said.
I see your point!
Was at Masterton a few weeks ago for a victory. I think Bill had at least one legacy there plus some more victory and classic dl s.
